    Thanks for the advice. I'll switch to the Rotella next change, in about 2 weeks or so. Also, I did a valve adjustment recently and checked the gaps this morning. According to the BassCliff notes, they're dead on.

      If the smoke lingers in the air it is fuel and/or oil. If it dissipates quickly it's condensation.

        Oh i know the difference,, and mine is oil smoke from the valve quides.

        I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.
