    Replacing year old intake o-rings

So I've decided to clean my carbs this winter.

Just a quick feeler, Should I replace the intake o-rings again or just leave them be. If I remember correctly they weren't expensive and Ill be making an order to Cycle o-rings .com anyway for the carb stuff.

If I remove the boots from the head will I need to replace them, or should I just leave well enough alone.

They will be fine, the originals took years to harden up. With the better new materials they probably never will go bad.

      Hi,

I agree. If you've replaced the intake O-rings within the last few years and the intake boots are still in good shape, there's no critical need to remove the boots or replace the O-rings just because you're servicing the carbs. If they're not leaking, don't worry. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

      Thank you for your indulgence,
