CV Carb sync
Just curious. My brother is getting himself a set of Morgan gauges and I was thinking about adjusting my CV's on the 1100 8 valve. The manual shows that the two inner carbs are set at a lower vacuum. Can anyone tell me the reason for this?1982 GS1100GLZ Sold but still loved

I have gone along with this theory blindly, like most others. I have asked the same question you did and got pretty much the same answer.
However, I would still like to know, what is it about the crossover that requires the different settings?

Air flow through the entire system is different for the two inboard carbs. The difference is really minute but since we strive for perfection there is no other choice
