    Help with carb identification?

Hi all my friend recently gave me a set of carbs in excellent condition, and I recognized them right away as old Mikuni's that looked exactly like the ones I used to have on my GS850. Assuming stock jetting, if the mains are running 102.5, can anyone tell me what model GS these likely came from?

    Thanks

OK yeah of course here they are, my 850 was a 81 model but I sold it long ago to a forum member, this is just what I remember they looked like.

Wow those are amazingly clean! CV for sure, and if you measure the bore you'll know the size 32,34, or 36mm.

Those carbs are not from a GS Suzuki. I'm not sure what they are from though.

Are you sure? Anyone else have any ideas where they could be from?

I'm about 99% positive they are NOT from the GS series bikes we have.

any I.d. numbers on them, throat diameter, ect?

Engine side is 32mm, airbox side approx 48mm.

The butterfly valves are stamped with a square within a square design, followed by 125.

No other identifying marks that I can see...

Anything stamped just above the float bowls on the side of the carb?

No nothing indicative like a serial number, altho one side of the bodies says "Mikuni Corp" and the other side says "Made in Japan"

Aha, I see, neither of those were"perfect" fits but it definitely seems that these came from a Yamaha. Thanks man I am going to get on their forum and see if anyone over there can put these awesome carbs to use.

With the 2 outer tops chrome and the 2 inner tops plain, and the size of those carbs, along with the choke hook-up,and idle adjustment set-up,they look amazingly like the set on my Kawasaki ZL600.Can you tell if they are set up for one throttle cable,or two?
