    removing stuck pilot screw-BS34

The link below shows how to pop out a pilot screw from inside the slide. Anyone know if this will work on a BS34. Just want to save pulling the carbs if its a no go.

You broke the tip off an idle mixture screw?
If yes the same method will work

Isnt this going to ruin the threads in the carb body ?

Look at the link and you'll notice you don't go through the threads.

I must be missing something here. The screws thread into the carb body dont they ? Isnt driving them out going to ruin the threads in the carb body. Im referring to BS34s. Ive got some spare carb bodies, Ill try it & see I guess.

If he broke off the tip of his idle mixture screw then you go through the slide port to knock it out.

Ok, I get it now, just the tip is broken off. I was thinking the whole screw was stuck and he was driving it out.
