    Airbox clips-need them

    Hello all,

I have a 1982 GS650-GLz with the side-loading airbox (filter and cover are on right side of bike under sidecover) I am in need of the 2 airbox clips that hold that cover on.

When I received the bike it did not have the clips, I have wedged something in place to keep the cover on but that is not a permanent fix.

Anyone have a good idea where to get replacements or a good method to make them? Ebay has nothing and the part is not worth me buying a complete airbox assy. just for the damn clips...

If anyone has experience making them I would be interested to hear about it.

    Thanks,
    James

        Air box slides

I bought a pair of those last week from my local dealer. They were about 3 bucks each and it took about 3 days.

Duct tape will work in a pinch. Have fun installing clips, they are a PITA. Especially while trying to do after putting oily air filter in place.

Take note, they only go on one way, a slight ramp indicates which.
