I`m sorry if this has been covered before but I have searched and can`t find an answer to my question.
I have just done a Saxon Engineering bolt on monoshock conversion to my `79 GS1000S. Unfortunately, I have had to move the battery and remove the airbox as there is no longer space to fit it. I am now running pod filters on the carbs. Obviously they need rejetting and I was wondering if anyone had run pods on their bike and could point me to the right ball park for jet sizes and settings. I was very reluctant to lose the standard airbox as the bike pulled like a train cleanly through the rev range.
The bike is also running a Harris Works Performance 4-1 system. With the stock airbox, standard 15/95 jets and the pilot air screws turned out 1 3/4 -2 turns it ran like a mad thing. Now, it bogs down higher up the rev range.
Any help or advice greatly appreciated.
Regards
Tim
