carb adjusments on gs1000g

wheres the air fuel screw at on a gs1000g? do u have to drill out the top on each carb to acess them?

Hi,

The "idle mixture screw" is on top of the carb throat on the engine side of the carb. Yes, the factory put an aluminum cap on them. Be very careful when you take them out. The caps are thin and you don't want to damage the screws beneath. The Carb Rebuild Series has many good pictures. But I think they are mistakenly called "air screws" in that guide.

after taking the carbs all apart and cleaning "allthough they were super clean allready" them the bike still only ran on choke after removing the alum plugs and fiddlin with the idle mixtures the bike starts right up and idles perfect but breaks up and the rpm hangs up a bit when revving it up.
