Requested exhaust pics

I buttoned up my V&H Sidewinder today. I had problems getting the bolts in last time so I left it alone last week before I got frustrated. This week i reapproached my previous problem with a clear head. Heres some pictures.

I had to fab up a spacer to hold it out from the bike. Found an old chrome luggage rack that i cut a piece out of. I think it turned out pretty good.


The footpeg or as I call it the meatpaw sits right on the exhaust. Im going to add a little piece of heat tape to protect the chrome.


And a sideshot to close it out. What do you all think?

Ha just the opposite lol. All the neighborhood kids came running, and i mean RUNNING over to see all the commotion was. My neighbor across the street did come over and complain that he couldnt hear his harley! He was actually a pretty decent guy and asked me to ride with his buddies sometime.

My first bike was a KZ650. I put a Kerker on that and would pull the baffle from time to time. At over 6K it would make a HD sound like a fart .

fix a big magnet to the botom of the gs and ride in the back. When you get to a stop, you can give them back the parts that fall off and get stuck to the magnet.

Thats cuz YOU forgot to tighten the bolt..Harleys shake the stuff loose..

I like how the "zip" shoots through the "rumble" when you give it gas.

The rumble is the show, the zip is the go.

On Z1's site, they list these big 4's as "muscle bikes"

Well now it sounds like a muscle bike. I love the big block cam " lop" you can hear through the pipe. Hard to believe this bike started as a full fairing bagged tourer.
