i sent a set to Chef because i didnt have time to do them myself at the time..It was a total abortion. Jets left plugged, filth and scale left in side the bowls..just a nasty unprofessional job. I woulnd up having to do them myself anyways. I DO NOT recommend Chef for a lwan mowere carb.
You're a BITCH!

Carb cleaning is easy just follow the simple instructions on Cliff's site.
You will save a bundle. Its actually fun.
I find using noxious carcinogens fun though.

My offer still to do your carbs still stands. If you sent them to me your carbs would never Florida. I just can?t do the trade. A little dry ice, a cooler and ice cream at the beach should make some extra cash. Gotta love Florida beaches. If you get the money shoot me a PM and we?ll setup something.
FYI: we?ve done thousands of carbs; we know what we?re doing.Comment

It is probably well noted in the how to guide but
Be wary of the disassemly.
Use good quality tools and be ever so careful removing the float bowl pin as you can break off the tower it sits in.Comment

I use a spring loaded center punch to remove float pins & NEVER have an issue. Ask the guys that I showed yesterday when we were at NOS' house & I did his carbs. Posplayer, Basscliff, & Chef were there. Ray.Comment

Hi,
Jet kits are not cheap. See http://www.dynojet.com/jetkits/motorcycle/suzuki.aspx. If you don't mind doing plug chops to read the spark plugs and taking the carbs off and on a few time, you can do it "manually". But the deal with the jet kit is that you get the special jet needles that make the midrange easier to adjust. Are you still running the stock exhaust?
Thank you for your indulgence,
