What exhaust for gs650gtRight, my gs650gt has a good condition stock pipes on now , i,m considering dismantling the system and having them re-chromed and storing them as they are really good , i am after a bit more noise / performance, so, where do i look for a decent pipe other than the soft motad pipes, i,m going to strip carbs soon and could re-jet same time, cheers jonTags: None

Motad pipes are pretty benign. They're ok - just ok and that's it.Originally posted by tom203 View PostOk, I'll ask - what are "soft motad pipes" ?

Not a lot of 4-1 out there for the 650. Mac has them listed but I don't think the Yanks rate them. Marshall Deeptone have them as well (but I don't like them - just a personal opinion). Nest I know will be a Predator. Not cheap though:

 79 GS1000S (another one)

75 PC50 - the one with OHV and pedals...
75 TS100 - being ridden (suicidally) by my father

 Janner,

What did you end up getting? I'm still futzing with my own 650G pipes, and I've been on the lookout for a complete system, too. Bribird has a Deeptone on his 650, and it sounds okay to my ear, but I prefer a slightly quieter pipe.'83 GS650G
