Petcock Levers
I ordered the OEM part for my bike and it did not come with a lever. Does it truly not have one? If it does, anyone know where to get it? Thanks!!!Tags: None -

Either do a 'search' or just stand by. You'll get a bunch of responses pretty quickly.

There is no lever on that particular petcock. Install it and go. The service manual, which I trust you already have, details everything you need to know regarding this subject.Ed
To measure is to know.

T from the ground is prime (which requires a quick puff of vacuum to actually work)
Parallel to the ground is run or on.
I'm referring to that tiny slot in the front of the petcock.Comment

Oh no!
The dreaded 1980 petcock!

There's no reserve and it's really inconvenient to use a little screwdriver to change from "ON" to "PRIME". It should work as advertised. Just keep an eye on your gas gauge and learn how many miles you can go before you need to fill up again.
Thank you for your indulgence,
