    GS 250 Exhaust

Just bought a 1981 GS250. The exhaust is pretty rusted out just behind the crossover. The headpipes are in good shape. What are my options on replacing the exhaust system. Aftermarket? Mufflers only? Whole system?

    Thanks!

    Greetings and Salutations!!

    Hi Mr. waphill,

Sure, you can get some aftermarket mufflers and weld them on. There was a post recently from a member showing off a video of his "shorty" mufflers that were welded onto his stock headers. They looked and sounded good. Feel free to use the search feature, search in "Titles only", and you should be able to find all of the information and opinions you need.
