No need to confuse the issue here. I helped a guy a few years ago who insisted that he had the screws out THREE TURNS. I decided to check them, just to be sure. Yeah, he had them out three "twists".Originally posted by spyug View PostEasiest way is to count "twists" from seated. 5 twists is 2.5 turns.

 Hope that helps.

Nobody has ever specified the number of "twists", just "turns", so please stick to full 360-degree turns.

Count them by halves, if you want: "Half turn, one turn, one and a half turns, two turns, etc., but keep the terminology consistent.

Sorry, I grew up in the era of Chubby Checker and his dance innovation the "Twist" ( excellent exercise by the way). As I count in half turns, the motion of my wrist made me think of twisting....go figure. I guess It might have been less confusing to say 5 half turns perhaps.Nobody has ever specified the number of "twists", just "turns", so please stick to full 360-degree turns.

Personally, I find it more accurate to count it out in half turns. Can't exactly say why, just the way my mind works I guess. Anyway I'll keep my twists to myself from now on.

 Cheers,
