Gs1000 Carbs
Hi guys, got my gs1000 project running today, however the slide carbs were leaking fuel from the T pipe where the fuel hose attachs. I have looked for new rubber washers to fit but part seems to be obsolete now. Can I fit o rings to try to seal it or use fibre washers. Thanks WayneTags: None

Might be worth waiting until tomorrow before you do anything. Those rubber tee pieces shrink when they get old and haven't had fuel running through them. Most often a drop of petrol makes them swell up and fit like new.79 GS1000S

Cheers Guys, I'll try soaking overnight in petrol to see if the rubbers swell up again if not I'll look for the parts on ebay. Thanks Wayne
