Success! New Carb-boot O-rings, and some throttle adjustment and my bike now starts and idles nicely! I turns out I had also incorrectly installed my Cam chain tensioner.
This was the first time I have every done anything mechanical, and I want to thank everyone for their help and their unending patients.
It's weird how something so small can change so many things, I actually had a friend tell me the other day that he really respects me more now that I am trying new things, especially those out of my comfort zone.
