    Help Identifying jets

82 GS1100E with PODS and 4 to 1 Kerker. Last I ran it 10 years ago (from what I remember) it was running pretty good. Upon recent motor tear down there was a lot of carbon build up in the head and the plugs looked like it was running very rich. If all goes well I should be able to try starting it in a few weeks. In anticipation of having to play with the jetting can anyone help me identify what jet kit I have? (See pic)

Pilot screw set to 3 1/4
    Pilot jet 45
    Main 165
    Pilot Air jet 160

    Thanks,
    Dave

          Hi,

The "square within a larger square" logo is Mikuni parts. The main jet (with just a number) is probably a DJ part.

          Thank you for your indulgence,

OK so the stock settings are:

            main 110
            main air 1.2 mm
            Jet needle 5D58
            needle jet X-1
            Pilot jet #45

Does anybody see anything bad with the setup in the bike now? Looks like the main jet was changed and I'm not sure how to cross reference the 160 Mikuni Air jet to mm it may be stock.

I want to see a pic of the jet needle in the slide.
165 is a huge jet either DJ or Mikuni.

OK I will do that this weekend .... I just put the carbs back on the bike ... figures. I think I can take it out on the bike though.

                Thanks,
                Dave

Out of curiosity what will that tell you?

Do you mean the float needle when you say jet needle?

                    Thanks,

No the long round one like in the earlier pics. It comes out of the slide.

                        OK I think I understand now .......

Do you want it with the main jet screwed in or out or a pic from inside the carb body?

What will a pic of it tell you?

I went back and looked through the pics of my tear down, will this suffice or do you need a different angle?

On the other side there are four screws holding in the slide. The slide is the round piece with a long needle poking through. It has a rubber diaphragm on the end.
