    carb cleaner

    Hi guys,
Does anyone know where to get carb cleaner dip in N.Ireland or the UK. I have searched the internet and no-one seems to supply it. Is there an alternative to use? Thanks in advance.

In places where carb dip is not legal, this
Yamaha product can often be obtained
    P/N ACC9CARBC9LE9N

    Last resort if carb
    dip can not be
    obtained is to boil
    parts in mild Pine9
    Sol or lemon juice
    mixtur

    From Bikecliffs carb rebuild..

      Hi,

And lately some of us have learned that vinegar is too acidic.

      Thank you for your indulgence,

I would imagine any product designed for use in fuel systems that dissolves gum varnish and deposits would do the trick, as in any kind of fuel treatment. And new o rings is always smart

Cellulose thinners (remove rubber / plastic bits first to be safe). Or boil in a saucepan with a drop (just a drop) of Fairy Liquid added to the water.

Fairy Liquid LOL.. That gave me a bit of a chuckle.. Just the imagery of how one might obtain such liquid..

You need to creep down to the bottom of the garden at the dead of night.......

Boringly it's a brand name for washing up liquid.
