No more 450 kits for now...

Sorry. Hate to use this forum to announce this, but this is where most people get my URL & so forth.

I have been unable to get a source for the most important O-ring in the 450 kit, so for now the kits are unavailable.

I'm looking at two old reliable sources to get a new supply, but it could take a month or more.

Thanks for the heads up Robert, I'm right with mine but good to know for the other 450 guys who will be looking for some.

When you say the most important one, are you referring to the mixture screw?

No, it's the needle jet O-ring, which creates an interference fit to hold the jet in place. If it isn't exactly 3.1mm x 1.1mm, it's going to cause havoc. I've tried a few sizes that are extremely close, dimensionally, and the jet winds up either too tight or too loose.

Aaaah of course! The mixture screw could cope with some minor differences in that regard...

Well, the time estimate was pretty accurate. The kits are now back in stock.
