    Gs 450l carb

    on the carbs on my bike
    the neddel jet is stuck in the bowl
    any idea how to get it out without destroing it?

    Pair of needle nose pliers with maybe some cloth wrapped around and pull? Put the bowl in a vise with something to protect it too. Or go ahead and throw it in the dip since you should be replacing the orings anyway.

      Yeah that looks suspiciously like the float bowl off the 80 - 82 450's and if it is, that's definitely an interference fit.

      Penetrating oil might help, but putting it like that in the carb dip as Scott said should disolve or at the least perish the O ring enough to make it let go.

        I had the same problem on my 450 carbs, I just put the whole bowl in the carb dip, they were both still stuck 24 hrs later. Put it all back together with new orings everywhere else. Bike runs fine, took it to Barber's this weekend and rode Parade Laps! Whoo Hoo!!
