  Not all carbs getting gas
Just got an 82 gs550L that I will be turning into a cafe racer. Bike fires when carbs are sprayed. Tank is not dirty. Rebuilt the petcock. Nothin. Took the carbs off to clean them and only the 3rd carb had gas in the bowl. I'm in the process of cleaning jets and such. Is there a way to blow out the fuel bar by not separating them? If I shoot air through the gas line it comes out the over flow. Can I block these up and then shoot air? I really don't want to separate these carbs.(will if I have too) HelpTags: None Not all carbs getting gas

The fuel inlet seat has a internal filter, clips to the float valve probably loaded with crap if no fuel is getting to only one carb

Just finished the rebuild of my carbs. All new jet plugs, o rings, everything dipped and blown out. Cleaned tank, rebuild petcock and new fuel line. Will re install Saturday. Lets hope for a Christmas miracle. Nessam, Thank you for the carb info. That was a HUGE help!

 Greetings and Salutations!!

 Hi Mr. tigerfan474,

If I may be of service, you'll find a wide range of documentation on my little website. For the larger files, like manuals, you can right-click and "Save...as" to your hard drive. The large PDF files can take 15-30 minutes to download depending on your connection speed. Pay particular attention to the maintenance lists in your "mega-welcome". Properly addressing each issue will save you lots of time, money, and frustration.

Let me dump a TON if information on you and share some GS lovin'.

I just stopped by to welcome you to the forum in my own, special way.

If there's anything you'd like to know about the Suzuki GS model bikes, and most others actually, you've come to the right place. There's a lot of knowledge and experience here in the community. Come on in and let me say "HOoooowwwDY!"....

Here is your very own magical, mystical, mythical, mind-expanding "mega-welcome". Please take notice of the "Top 10 Common Issues", "Top 15 Tips For GS Happiness", the Carb Cleanup Series, and the Stator Papers. All of these tasks must be addressed in order to have a safe, reliable machine. Now let me roll out the welcome mat for you...

Please click here for your mega-welcome, chock full of tips, suggestions, links to vendors, and other information. Then feel free to visit my little BikeCliff website where I've been collecting the wisdom of this generous community. Don't forget, we like pictures! Not you, your bike!

Thanks for joining us. Keep us informed.
