Working Temps for Berryman'sDoes anyone know what the recommended temperatures are for dipping carbs in the Berryman's Chem-Dip? I need to get my carbs done but temps for the next couple of weeks will be in the 40s during the day and teens to twenties at night. I'm searching online right now but not seeing much.''

As a rule of thumb, chemical reactions double for every 10*C (= 18*F) increase in temperature (or halve for the same drop in temperature).

If the dip is supposed to be used at room temperature (70*F) and you are supposed to leave it overnight (say 12 hours), then
 70*F 12 hours
 52*F 2x12 = 24 hours
 36*F 2x24 = 48 hours

 Does that make sense?

The dip should not be corrosive to metal, so there should not be any reason to worry about leaving it in too long. However, the tops and bowls may have a clear coating if polished and the dip may (will) attack the clear coat. Some carbs have paint on the bodies and the dip may attack that too. Hope this helps.
