750,850,1100 carb difference
Are the above carbs all 34 mm & are the carb fittings (I mean the way the cables attach & choke operates) the same?

No, the 550 through 850 are BS32, but there are differences in linkage between the carbs, and jetting, of course.
The 1000 and 1100 have BS34. The 1150 has BS36.
As RB stated, the "choke" linkage is different. The '80 and '81 had a cable that pulled on a pivot mechanism,
the '82 and up had a curved tube that re-directed the cable to pull sideways.
