    Stock exhaust performance differences???

Sorry if this subject has been hashed out already, but...

Does anyone know performance (flow/back-pressure/etc) differences between GS1000 E, G, L, and S models exhausts. Looking thru parts fiches, I see there are a number of design differences regarding mounts, crossovers, indentations, etc., but was really wondering more about performance. Read once that E model pipes flow more than L's... Any validity to that?

Thanks in advance for any insight.

True and they sound better too, more like a big motorcycle and less like a fart can on a Japanese car.

Any evidence that E pipes flow better than L's?

I agree they sound better subjectively.

When I changed the stock '81 1000G exhaust for the stock '83 1100E exhaust,
it MOST DEFINITELY gained some horsepower.
