carbs interchangeable

I have two sets of carbs from two of the same bikes. (mikuni bs cv, 1982 gs650 gl) Both have broken housings on the 4th carb. Is it possible to take one of the first, second, or third carbs and replace number 4?

Not really but you could probably get a trade going with someone on this forum who needs a #1, #2, or #3 carb body.

I think you should be able to do it, but you'll have to rework the carb with some plugs here and there. Maybe worth a call to Sudco for advice and the speciallized parts that wouldn't normally be sold.
