Float HeightIn getting ready to set float heights I have noticed that there seems to be different points of measurement depending book. Clymer uses the flat top/bottom with measurements of 21.4 - 23.4 and the one of the GS pdf's uses the stepdown at 22.4mm. Originally when I took them apart they were set at 21.5 at the flat and 19.5 at the stepdown. I want to get back to factory what is the correct way and measure?Tags: None

It's at the step down. If the float needle spring isn't strong enough to support the weight of the float consider replacing the needle, or at least hold up the float and measure just when the float tang hits the spring needle.

 Good luckEd

Download a REAL service manual here...http://members.dslextreme.com/users/bikecliff/

Clymer's should be used only for hand holding, when the factory Suzuki manual leaves you short of explanation.Ed
