I'm running K&N pods with a V&H 4-1. I have the stock fuel jet (15) and upped the main jet to 117.5, dropped the e-clip to the 4th position. And this baby screams! You should be close with this set up.

This is the trial and error part of pods/4-1.

I have the same set-up and continue to tinker with jetting. Right now I have a 17.5 pilot, clip in 4th position and 122.5 mains. We'll see about the screaming.

Before I had 15 pilots and 125 mains, but the pilot mix was getting too tricky at the fuel air screw level. So I am trying 17.5s and more normal screw settings.

Some are lucky, some are anal, but that's the price of jetting for pods.

True enough. After plenty of reading on this forum I started with 17.5 pilots, kept on closing down the screw but my plug chops remained black. Went back to the stock pilots before I could get any color.

Got the oring kit from Mr Barr today

gonna dip the carbs,gonna dip the carbs, gonna dip the carbs till the cows come home then I will try out some jets.
