How long is the tube on the petcock?

Hi there!
I removed my petcock to confirm what the previous owner said about it not having a tube so that it didn't matter if it was in "ON" or "RES" position, when it's empty it's empty.... no reserve

So, since I have copper tubing available and no money to buy a new one because my Z needs a new temp sensor for the coolant liquid I thought I could fix this myself if I new how long the tube for the "on" position was??

I measured two of them and got 61 or 62 mm's from the flat of the petcock mount.
That should leave you with a bit more than 3.8 liters of fuel remaining.
Or enough for about 50 kilometers to empty.
