    throttle cable

    my cable snapped today..was a fun ride home...i was an oem or better cable..does bikebandit have oem? or is the motionpro form z1 worth anything

    Maintenance is good. I recommend replacing all cables with new OEM pieces. The 1000S clutch cable is shorter than stock which is good for low bars. There are shorter throttle cables available too - such as from the 1000S or 550M.

      I also keep a spare throttle and clutch cable zip tied to the frame, those you can't get home without.
