A friend of mine recently picked up a Wes Cooley Replica REPLICA ... 78 vintage.
He's having a hell of a time trying to get the carbs dialed in .... I haven't really spent much time out there with him but .... He's got KnN pod style air filters and an old Jardine pipe on it ..... She pops a lot off idle and when cruising .... He pulled everything apart and did a basic clean up but nothing changed other than it did run a little better when we realized that the boots were not sealing properly ... Any suggestions or direction would be most welcome ....
Also considering moving away from the stock 26's and into something like a 34 from an early GSXR .... Any thoughts on that ? ... What boots would he have to use ... ?
Thanks,
The Doberdewd ...
