Choke Cable Help
When I pull up my choke it just falls back down and wont stay up for more than a few seconds. How can I stiffen this up? Do I need a new cable?Tags: None -
If it won't stay up when you twist it, the friction lock part of the cable is shot, replace it.
Until you get it replaced you can stick a coin between the part of the choke mechanism that moves out from the left side of the carburetor and the carb body. Crude but it will work.Comment

Well I tried to twist it but it does not turn in either direction. If I order a new choke cable will that be part of it or is it in the the actual choke knob?Comment

The cable includes everything. Get a Suzuki one, the others suck.Comment
