It's not that this -ONE- thing has me stumped...
I know I could get though it if I cared anymore.
But it's the "I gotta fix the carbs, and I can ride it tomorrow".. only to find I need another 3 weeks of tinkering and another $100 I really didn't want to spend...
EVERY (Bleeping) TIME I TOUCH THE BIKE.
It has become "work" to me. I already have 2 jobs. 3 is not "fun" anymore.1980 GS1000G - The Beast - GOING... GOING... yup, it's gone. I'm bikeless !!! GAaaahh !!!

 Hehehehehe.
At one time I had 3 old bikes. Oddly enough, the oldest and roughest looking one, an 81 KZ750E, never required a spot of work. The GS took me years to sort out. Once it was done I sold it, now the remaining one decided it wants to be queen bit@h and is currently (no pun intended) giving me electrical problems. But I have so much experience now that all I have to do is wait on parts.
But I know what you mean. It can be (and usually is) quite frustrating at times.

I thunk about it overnight... and decided to sit on it for a week before I sell it.
 Maybe I'll change my mind ???1980 GS1000G - The Beast - GOING... GOING... yup, it's gone. I'm bikeless !!! GAaaahh !!!
