same exhaust for the 750 and 850 gs?

Hi, I'm looking for a decent 4-2 exhaust system for my 78' GS750, I have a 4-1 but I like the looks of a 4-2 system better. But I also like a bit of sound, and also my bike is tuned for the 4-1 system so I think a stock exhaust would somewhat ruin the performance?
Also my engine is an 850 engine. I found a mac exhaust system on ebay for the 750 with megaphone mufflers, and I found one for the 850 but that has mufflers with side exits, I don't like that....
Can I use the one for the 750 on my bike? Is the exhaust mounting on the engine the same?
Or does any of you know where I can find a decent 4-2 exhaust system that will fit?

I've mounted headers from a 79 850 onto a 79 750 easily. One option I've done is welded mufflers onto the stock headers right underneath the heat shield. I used Dunstalls from JC whitney

but these guys have a slew of mufflers as well

The dunstalls sound great and were an easy set up with the carbs.

The early 750 and 850 used the same head, so the 750 exhaust should bolt right up with no mods.

Sweet! So as long as I make sure it's for an 8 valve engine I'm good?
