You might want to use a non-gs tank, one that you like, and mount it, rather than going to the trouble of modifying a stock tank.

Problem with many of the radical customs is fabricators are arrogant SOB's that run open pipes. I have no idea why these people feel it's their right to annoy innocent people with their noise.

My pipes are chopped, but baffled and are surprisingly quiet in comparison to others harleys, crotch rockets, and "tuner" cars. I think everyone at some point can be arrogant SOB's
