    Pingle issue

Ordered a new pingle for my flatslides for the 1100e and it dosnt fit. The adapter screws are too short and the the stem will not go in without cutting a larger opening where the stock petcock mounts. Not really keen on cutting up my tank... is this normal?

getting longer screws is a no pain job..but what about maybe grinding a little off the OD so it will go in, or is it really WAY to big???

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

Had the same issue but it only took some file work and longer screws. The round mesh screen wouldn't fit in the rectangular hole.

I've had to rat tail file every tank I fitted a Pingle to.
I use teflon tape on the threads and make sure to use the copper washers.
