    GS550 carb help! Need a T fitting

My friends and I got a non-running 1977 Suzuki GS550 for next to nothing and we've been trying to bring it back to life. After rebuilding the carbs and cleaning the gas tank, we hooked everything up yesterday. Cranked a while until we noticed the pool of gasoline forming. The gas is leaking from the plastic T between the center carbs. It seems to be leaking on both sides where the T enters the carbs. I can't find anyone online who still has this part, it looks like it's permanently discontinued.

I was thinking about using JB Weld or epoxy to try to stop the leak to see if this bike actually runs. Can anyone help me find the T, or give me some insight on how to fix the problem? Thanks in advance!

Go look at Z1 Enterprise's website http://www.z1enterprises.com/ShopByC...01010404010102 and look at their carb parts. They are one of the top companies for our bikes for a very good reason - they will take care of you.

Welcome to the site by the way.

Thanks! Got the bike in January, I was gonna do the whole "I am this person, here is my build thread" once there was something to talk about besides I hate rebuilding carbs. I'll get there if I get it running.

Watch for a thread, but don't hold your breath, could be a while

That was pretty awesome, not gonna lie!

I've been digging through this website for a couple months already so I already feel at home, just haven't posted anything. I'll get some work done and post what happens. Thanks everyone!
