Will a 1980 GS650 4 into 1 Fit On A 1981 GS650?

I know there were small changes between these two years as most books specify 81-83 leaving some earlier models behind, but would these pipes fit my 1981 GS650E...

They will fit in the head.
Will they clear the frame? If so you can modify a hanger for the can.

Well...than maybe it's an '81...or not a 650? Did y'all look at the ad? Maybe I'll ask more of the seller and let him know that the bike he took um off of doesn't exist.

They maybe looking at the manufacture date of the bike, or a different size bike...Who knows?
