Your 550 uses BS32 carbs, his 1100 uses BS34. They slides are not the same.

Hopefully you have not placed the order yet, as the links we have given you will save about $30.

I saved this link in case it might come in handy some day. Check it out but please do your due diligence:

          Yamaha SX, TX650, TX750, Venture, & Kawasaki KZ-750, XS500 Carburetor Diaphragms
for Mikuni BS38, BS36, BS34, & BS34SS CV constant velocity carburetors. This easy to
install part can cure engine stuttering, unwanted acceleration, uneven and
unbalanced carburetors caused by leaking or worn diaphragms. Until now
replacement meant you had to buy an expensive new throttle slide.
Please state carburetors you have or measure diameter of groove when ordering:

          Only $19.50 each

          Domestic Shipping only $6.80 per
order for any number of diaphragms
          by FIRST CLASS Mail
Doesn't state Suzukis but take some measurements and see what they say.

EDIT: I see these have been mentioned a couple of times but no statement like "those won't work" or "I called and they won't fit"

I have used their diaphragms for my Madura GV1200 carburetors with excellent results!
