    Hose through Kick Stand Spring

I'm putting my carb and airbox back on and I found a hose that goes to ...? It runs behind the air box and goes down through the spring of the kickstand to nothing so I'm assuming it's some kind of vent.

By airbox, you mean the plenum with the four tubes that distribute the air to the carbs, and not the filter box?

Pics would help, but it sounds like someone has run one of the carb vent tubes through there. It could also be crossing over from your fuel gauge sending unit.

Ahhhhh. Thanks guys. I think it is for the battery, but I don't believe my new batter has that... I could be wrong. I'll take a look when I get home.
