Canadian Carbs
Hi guys, so I'm looking at possibly picking up some Canadian GS650 carbs to replace one of my current ones. Carb #4. Would I have any issues buying a Canadian model carb in regards to the jetting or anything like that? I will be installing a stage 3 dynojet kit into this.Tags: None

Haha, it's bobbed! I've put a hardtail on it and it has straight pipe exhaust from the headers back. It's a beautyOriginally posted by steve murdoch View PostInquiring minds need to know...what the heck are you doing to a GS650 that would require a Stage 3 kit?
I'm using pod filters as well

Steel Toed Tank
As far as I know in relation to my own Canadian carbs on my 750T, the only real difference is an exposed idle mixture screw and and an adjustable needle clip position.
The jets and everything else inside are identical to the American carbs.
Seeing as you'll be installing a stage 3 jet kit though, none of the differences will really matter.

I want pic's of the aftermath of someone bouncing off a seat like that with no rear fender, Especialy with forward controls. BIG bump, feet pushing body backwards, tire spinnin 80mph. they must make chain mail underwear just for that hahahaha

Thanks manOriginally posted by Rockgs1000 View PostMan I like that look you done well moving the brake lever forward how does the other side look?
The other side has a lever for switching gears. which is again moved forward. I'm 6'2" and need a decent stretch on these small bikes
I would love to have the flat bar but the issue is that I'm tall... The apes make it much more comfortable for me to be able to cruise. The seat could use some better springs so that my back doesn't give out. It's a rough ride at the moment. Maybe I'll throw a fender on there one day. Currently, I want to get it running smoothly!Originally posted by BigD_83 View PostI'm more a fan of a flat bar than ape hangers, but yeah, not so bad.
I would also prefer to have a hugger fender and shocks on there, but I'm old(er)...and I don't bend like I used to.
