Noticed this issue earlier assumed it was the cables for the throttle.
 Replaced both cables

The Throttle is tight and seems to stick like it has a throttle lock,
Sprayed and lubed the cable accelerator carburetor Linkage etc...

Does not seem to be a mechanical issue cables alignment etc.
Stiff and would think a dangerous issue as does not snap back like other bikes.

Is there some adjustment I missed or is this normal for the 1979 GS1000?
No screws in the way the movement forward and back is smooth just very sticky

Finished the carbs rebuilt and manual petcock conversion and the bike is running need to get my Mufflers on next. Can’t ride until I figure this out :>)
