My friend has a 81 1000gl and the #4 carb is missing the aluminum that is covered by the gasket....anyone have an extra?

It's the plug that one side is in the throat of the carb and the other on the gasket surface of the bowl gasket. Some use o-rings under the float gasket.

These plugs are weird. They either just fall out or you need to cut the carb body to get them out.

Naa... you put an allen wrench on them, give it a good pry with a large screw driver and they'll pop right out. At least the one I removed last night did anyways.

Chucksuki, your plug is in my pocket to be dropped in the mail on my way home tonight.
