Hi, newbie from the Uk here. I've just taken delivery of a 1988 GS850 and started a partial strip down. The tank is goosed, it looked ok but once taken off and checked it appears to have had a liner fitted that has come away and as a consequence it's full of rust and old liner, some of it in large chunks. I could cut a hole, empty it out then reweld a patch but it hardly seems worth it as I may go the bobber route with a custom tank anyway, but I just wondered if any other tanks from the GS range would fit
