    Gs1000l 1979

My buddy has a 1979 GS1000L and the T-Joint inbetween carbs 2 and 3 is a bit old and corroded as it is a rubber version. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement for this online. I have been searching high and low and having no luck!

    Thanks!

    Greetings and Salutations!!

    Hi Mr. winkysmnm,

My first recommendation would be www.z1enterprises.com if you can't find it in an OEM vendor parts fiche; www.gssuzuki.com, www.boulevard.com, etc. Lots more parts vendors in your "mega-welcome".

If you are here you probably have a 30 year old motorcycle that needs about 20 years worth of maintenance. In the links below you'll find maintenance lists, documentation, wiring diagrams, "how to" guides, vendor links, tips, tricks, and a whole lot of GS goodness. This is your "mega-welcome". Let's get started.

Let me dump a TON of information on you and share some GS lovin'.

I just stopped by to welcome you to the forum in my own, special way.

If there's anything you'd like to know about the Suzuki GS model bikes, and most others actually, you've come to the right place. There's a lot of knowledge and experience here in the community. Come on in and let me say "HOoooowwwDY!"....

Here is your very own magical, mystical, mythical, mind-expanding "mega-welcome". Call z1enterprises.com. I think it's on the 3rd or 4th page of their carb section for that bike. I just replaced that "t" and the 2 tubes between the other carbs with the new style billet aluminum with o-rings. they don't make the original style anymore. it's a tight fit but it does the trick. I recommend replacing the other 2 tubes too cuz they are gonna leak like crazy after you take them apart. Ask me how I know.

This description also mentions part numbers.

Did you check the part number?

              From my website:

(Note: If the newer part numbers return no results, use the older, superseded numbers.)
