    GSX1100 Exhaust Fit GS1000

Would anybody know if an exhaust from a GSX1100 fit a GS1000?

    Cheers

generally all of the GS750/1100/1150 (16V) and GS1000(8v) will fit with possible requirement for modification of the rear mounting point

As Jim said. The silencer mount won't line up exactly. On the Harris that's a tricky thing to make fit and look neat as it's fixed and not adjustable as on some aftermarket pipes,

In your other thread Adrian was showing his Harris that he's modded with a can that slips on over the top - that could be the tidiest way to go.

Edit: assuming the Harris you're interested in is chrome. If it's black you can just weld a bracket on there and remove the old one and repaint.

also if you look at this crappy pic, you will see i have removed the original hanger bracket from the end can as the rear footrest brackets have been removed also. a new bracket was welded on and used to secure the pipe to the new rearset mount hole....
