I have my carbs mostly pulled apart, on the choke plungers, I can't get them apart and im afraid of stripped, and I don't think its safe to dip them because of the rubber ring on them..will it be a huge deal to not soak them?

Why can't you get them apart? If it's the screws hit them with wd40 then put driver on and tap it with a hammer. -
Have you followed the 450 rebuild guide on BassCliff's site? Should help you get them apart fully so you can safely dip away... you really do want to dip them to get a good thorough clean done.Comment
