    float valve retainer?

not sure what its called but its the little bracket that holds the float valve in to the carb body. held in by one small phillips screw. mine are so far gone that they are unusable. can i get these from anywhere. am in process of rebuild carbs the right way after basscliff reamed me for doing a "quick job" and would like to replace these if possible. and yes, allready ordered my orings from cycleorings.com. thanks

No, BassCliff did not "ream" you, he only beat you to the punch.

You would be kicking yourself because you would swear up and down that you had "cleaned the carbs", when in fact you hadn't.
