I bolted a set of 36 mm carbs from an 1150 on my 80 GS1100. Big difference, love the throttle response. I bought them for $50.00. When I took them apart to run through my ultrasonic cleaner, I found out the previous owner had already installed a stage 3 Dynojet kit.
Anyway, they're way cheaper than flatslides & although they don't give the same power boost, they do make a huge difference.Comment
