Will a GS500 Petcock fit a 450 tank

GS500 Petcocks seems to be cheaper + i can get them used from not so old bikes over here.
will it fit a 81 GS450 tank? i got the square "cafe look" tank

Check the spacing,if it's 44mm you SHOULD be OK.

.Check that the fueltap's outlet won't interfere with the frame. I think your fuel tap is at the rear end of the tank. Not sure about the GS500, but some Suzuki fuel taps have the outlet facing rear and can make a nuisance attaching a fuel line if your tap attaches at the rear of the tank.... The GS450E fuel tap outlet should ideally face in toward the engine .

What year GS500 are you planning on using the petcock from? Does it have the pickup for the vacuum hose? But yeah spacing is the most important.

If it works out, let me know, I have the same tank as you and would be interested in whether it fits or not.
