    O-ring lube?

What should I use to lube the o-rings between the carb boot and the engine?

    Thanks

Correct. They need no lubrication, but some of us will use a dab of grease in the groove to hold them in the boot while we place the boot onto the head.

silicone based grease. helps keep them in place during installing and helps them to seal as well.

I use Gunk Plumber's silicone grease, Part No. GR2V. I get it at Lowes.

Grease would be a good idea.

The boots I just took off my gs, the orings were literally fused to it. Could not get them out nomatter what I did. The bits of oring that did come out were hard as rock.

Grease would probably let them come out earlier down the line, just like lubing the oring on an oil filter before install.

DONT use MMO (Marvel Mystery Oil) causes o'rings to swell. I like the plumbers grease idea.

I use high temp Permatex anti seize, usually because generally I have it. Otherwize, regular wheel bearing grease, if I can't find the other.

I use Parker O-Ring lube, available anywhere Parker Hydraulic fittings are available.
